"We, the undersigned non-profit organisations, arts groups, political and cultural organisations, strongly oppose the proposed Toronto anti-postering by-law that would restrict community expression in our city. Public postering is an important tool of communication for many non-profit groups in Toronto. The Supreme Court of Canada has clearly ruled that unnecessary restrictions on postering is a violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. We urge members of City Council to vote against this proposal."
