What if I can’t pay the registration fee?

Please contact TOpublicspace@gmail.com if the registration fee is a barrier to participation.
Will my expenses to travel to Toronto be covered?

No. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse any expenses associated with participation in the design competition.
Is the washroom going to be built?

No. While we would love to see the winning design get built, there are no plans or funding to do so. Winning designs will be featured in Spacing and an exhibition at 401 Richmond in Toronto.
Who is on the jury?

Jury members will be announced shortly. Check back soon.
How will winners be decided?

The Toronto Public Space Committee will assemble a diverse panel of active and well-respected jurors in our community. Jury members will be announced shortly.
Who owns the designs, do the participants have rights over their designs?

Participants grant the competition organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the designs for competition related purposes, including the competition exhibition and promotional activities. Participants retain full ownership over their work.
